Provide ongoing technical support to offices that are using a variety of systems and software.
Provide support for application software installation and use.
Assist in developing user documentation/installation procedures.
Assist in providing technical assistance ranging from system information and/or documentation to system configuration and problem resolution.
Maintain the knowledge base for all supported software and a working knowledge of hardware and communication products.
Escalate issues to the System Administration team where appropriate.
Assisting the System Administration team to set up new users.
Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction.
Test software applications and systems.
Develop different types of software, including, business applications, operating systems, network control systems, and middleware.
Apply knowledge of computing systems and software structure.
Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization’s systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software.
Monitor the performance of systems.
Must adhere to General Safety regulations at the workplace
Must adhere to Company policies as stipulated in the Handbook
Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and 1 – 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Windows desktop experience highly preferred
Basic familiarity with Active Directory and group policy a plus
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential for success in this position.
